Day One - House of Waine, Nairobi - Transfer from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to the forested Karen suburbs of Nairobi. Relax by the swimming pool, or visit the nearby Karen Blixen museum or Giraffe Sanctuary. Gourmet cuisine is the order of the day.

Day Two - Elsa's Kopje, Meru National Park - You will be collected at 06:30 and transferred to Wilson Airport to catch the 07:45 am Air Kenya scheduled flight to Meru National Park. On arrival at 08:45 am, you will be met by a driver-guide and taken to the lodge. Made famous by the film “Born Free” and George Adamson's lions, the lodge and its 9 cottages are invisible to the eye as you approach the kopje. Settle in and relax by the swimming pool before lunch. After an early afternoon siesta at the poolside or on your own panoramic verandah, enjoy an extended afternoon game drive.

Days Three and Four - Elsa's Kopje - Take an early morning guided walk in the bush to work up your appetite or take an extended game drive with picnic breakfast to explore the many rivers transecting the park. We may come across basking Hippo's and Crocodiles. Return to lodge for lunch. Late afternoon sundowners in the park before a dusk game drive home.

Day Five - Loisaba, Laikipia - Leave Elsa's Kopje on your private charter and fly across to Loisaba. Met by your driver guide on arrival and driven to the lodge. Loisaba Lodge and the Starbeds are set in 60,000 acres of wilderness within a private conservancy area. This stunning lodge clinging to the edge of a 500 foot escarpment has unsurpassed views which defy description. After lunch you could spend the afternoon at leisure or perhaps a gentle bush walk followed by a late afternoon game drive with sundowners.

Day Six - Loisaba - optional night in Star Beds - Early morning breakfast followed by a game drive searching for Lions, perhaps you may encounter, Elephants, Greater Kudu, Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx to name but a few. Alternatively you may wish to take a gentle horse ride along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. Returning for lunch by the swimming pool. Choose from a host of activities for the afternoon including tennis, mountain biking, walking, game driving or simply relax and be pampered in our own spa. The option to sleep in our Starbeds – raised wooden platforms with 4 poster beds, en-suite bathrooms and dining room fully hosted by the Samburu – overlooking the river or the Elephant bathing waterhole can be arranged. The Starbed platforms have no walls or ceilings and provide blissful sleep under the huge celestial African sky.

Day Seven - Sabuk Lodge, Laikipia - After breakfast a short transfer by road to Sabuk overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro river below. Traditionally a base for camel safaris, owner, Professional Safari Guide, Simon and Mel Evans have transformed their beautiful home into a luxurious retreat overlooking the wild rocky terrain of the Northern Frontier District. A cool refreshing dip in the effervescent river right below the lodge is encouraged.

Day Eight - Sabuk Lodge - Set off in the cool early morning for a walk or ride with camels. Led by a professional safari guide and his team of trained Masai trekkers, the walk takes you across the hills with glimpses of the winding river below. Brunch is under the acacia trees. Take an afternoon swim in a natural rock pool. Return to Sabuk Lodge for campfire sundowners and dinner.

Day Nine - Sabuk Fly Camp - The day will be spent walking with and / or riding a camel assisted safari. Your guide and professional crew of Samburu warriors will accompany you and set up a fly camp for 1 night along the dramatic gorges of the tumbling Ewaso Nyiro River. The trek is easy and great for inquisitive family groups wishing to learn more about bushcraft and its natural inhabitants at close quarters.

Day Ten, Eleven and Twelve - Elephant Pepper Camp, the Masai Mara - After an early breakfast transfer to the airstrip for your private charter to Nanyuki where you will connect with the scheduled Safari Link at 10h00 to the Masai Mara one of Kenya's most famous wildlife havens. The Masai Mara offers a true wildlife experience, one than is hard to duplicate anywhere else in the world. Each lodge is part of a particular conservation project or concession area. In order for the Masai Mara to remain the sensational game reserve that is, the future lies in conservation. Game drives, bush breakfasts, sundowners and bush walks makes this an unforgettable safari experience. The Mara is famous for its prolific big game, predatory cats and vast antelope herds.

Day Thirteen - Return to Nairobi - After a last game drive in the Masai Mara, catch the 11:00 Air Kenya flight back to Nairobi. A Cheli & Peacock driver will transfer you to your Nairobi hotel or to the international airport for your journey home. End of Safari
